Emma Versteeg is a soprano based in Glasgow. She performs regularly as an oratorio soloist and past performances include Ashford Choral Society as part of the Stour Music Festival, Ayr Choral Union, Bishop's Stortford Choral Society, Edinburgh Symphony Baroque, Folkestone Choral Society, Oban Bach Choir, the Scottish Chamber Choir, Thames Voyces and Whitstable Choral Society.
Also an experienced choral singer, Emma currently sings with early music ensembles Cappella Nova, Canty and Ludus Baroque.
Emma performs regularly on the recital stage around the UK with a wide repertoire encompassing Lieder, French Song, early and contemporary English song, American Song and Scots Song. She is a regular recitalist for Festivals and concert series around the UK including Canterbury Cathedral, St Giles at Six at St Giles Cathedral Edinburgh, Lunchtime Live at Portsmouth Cathedral, the Brechin Arts Festival, the inaugural Balerno Music Festival and the Swiss Embassy in London. She is also an artist for Music in Hospitals and has also recently been accepted on to the Live Music Now Scotland scheme.
Emma is also a member of Trio Burnsteeg, a recently formed trio for Flute, Soprano and Piano, already in demand for their lively and varied programmes.
